Going to: Wharton. The M&T lateral is the dream but even baseline Wharton + the Goldman / McKinsey / Bain pipelines are the reason. Ross PSP was a real conversation but Wharton finance recruiting is a different planet.
Reflection: i'm gonna be honest, the brand matters. apply to the best b-school you can get into, then optimize for the recruiting pipeline that lines up with what you actually want. essays were the difference for me, especially the Wharton 'community' one, happy to dm anyone working on it.
