"The biggest regret is the glorification of Ivy students and believing that only super stacked god-tier resumes get in. Once you're past a certain threshold academically, admissions becomes largely about luck and institutional priorities rather than how much more you accomplish. Be more optimistic without being unrealistic, and take the admissions process more lightheartedly. Also address prestige-chasing tendencies rooted in insecurity and need for validation—your worth is not determined by college admissions decisions."
