Applicant's Advice

"Apply Early (ED/EA) rather than RD, especially if your school regularly sends students to top schools. Universities may have already filled their quota from your school by RD. Don't bank on getting into top universities even if talented. Expect rejection from all of them. Don't take a gap year just to reapply unless you can do something remarkable. This subreddit has extreme response bias and is not representative. If you didn't get into a top college, do not be discouraged."
