A real admissions result shared by an applicant. Browsing is free.
"Focus on essays and develop personal relationships for letters of recommendation. Start writing essays early (8+ months before deadline). Choose teachers who know you best and can speak to different aspects of your personality. You do not have to be a perfect applicant to get into top universities, but the process includes circumstantial elements and luck. Use the additional info section to explain anything that may be of use to admissions officers. Do not be discouraged if rejected from certain schools - that means it wasn't meant to be. The saying 'you'll end up where you are supposed to' is very true because you put so much of yourself into applications that AOs can really get a feel for you as a person."
