"As an unhooked Asian male from a competitive part of VA, shotgunning many applications was beneficial rather than applying to only a few. However, early decision to a dream school might have worked better. Essays quality improved when not rushed despite being tired, so sometimes burnout can lead to better authenticity. Financial considerations delayed ED strategy but ultimately attending school choice is what matters most."
